Alain CROZON, graduate of two famous Parisian institutes (Ecole Estienne and Ecole nationale sup?rieure des arts d?coratifs) was born in Paris in August 1970.
He lives and works in the Indre, France, where he teaches at the college Marcel Duchamp.
Alain CROZON designed and wrote books, with the publisher Albin Michel at start, and now for the publisher Le Seuil. As a press illustrator he hasdeveloped various design projects such as pieces of furniture, sculptures, toys...
His collection of riddle-books (Who am I? What am I? Wild animals...) is world-known
(U.S.A., Spain, Netherlands, Great Britain, Korea, Japan...).
Alain CROZON `s books can be found in museum bookshops like Orsay in Paris, the Tate Modern in London, the MOMa in New York...
Since 1998, Alain CROZON is collaborating with Taf Toys on various projects.
"I would not simply consider myself as a sole illustrator. In fact, I play with forms, colors and materials, each time I take part in the realization of a project, whatever the final form will be (book, toy, furniture). When I create something, I try to have fun doing it, as much as I wish people to have fun with the final object."
